Beijing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine
Beijing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine was founded in 1952, formerly known as Beijing No.2 Sanatorium. In 1956, it moved to No. 3, East Street, Yongding Road, Haidian District, Beijing, and was renamed Beijing Yongding Road Hospital in 1959. In 1989, it was included in the first batch of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine hospitals in the country and was renamed Beijing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. In 2007, it became the clinical practice base of California Traditional Medical College. Haidian Postdoctoral Workstation opened in 2011; in 2017, it was approved as a Grade 3A Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital; in 2018, it became the medical clinical practice base of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and in 2021, it was officially renamed as Beijing Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital. After 70 years of historical accumulation, it has developed into a tertiary A integrated Chinese and Western medicine hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, preventive health care, and rehabilitation, featuring integrated Chinese and Western medicine. It is the demonstration base and guidance center of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in Haidian District, the regional traditional Chinese medicine medical center in Haidian District, and the core hospital of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine Junior College medical association in Haidian District, playing an exemplary and leading role in the innovation and development of traditional Chinese medicine in Haidian District.
The hospital is located along Chang 'an Avenue and in the southwest corner of Haidian District. The hospital covers a total area of 28 mu and a construction area of nearly 50000 square meters. It has 600 beds, 444 beds, 23 clinical departments and 11 medical and technical departments.
